This upgrade is free to all previously registered users. Users that have not registered yet and use the program must pay in order to guarantee future updates. After checking how many people downloaded Screen-Dump ][ and how many people actually payed for it, the results came out quite annoying. 600+ people have downloaded SD][ and I have received 14 registrations, that is 2.3% payed for SD][! Of course there are people who downloaded SD][ and have decided not to use it, but I am sure that at least 200 people use it. If SHAREWARE is supported as it is going we (ShareWare authors) will be forced not to release programs as ShareWare any more. You are at a great advantage of being able to use the program before deciding to purchase it. Is $12 really too much to ask for all the work that has been put into making SD][? Please pay for ShareWare if you use it. Thank you...
Disk-Dump ][

There was a problem in Disk-Dump ][ v 1.0 where the scale command did not work while the Caps-Lock key was in the UP position. The screen would be stretched off the screen, that has been fixed.
Color-Dump ][
-------------
Color-Dump ][ has been expanded. Color-Dump ][ now will save in either Pixel-Paint, Gray-View, GIFF, or StartUpScreen format. An alert box with button will appear after the Save dialog asking which format to save in. For editing I recommend saving in Pixel-Paint format, but remember, Pixel-Paint clips the screen to 576 by 720 pixels as MacPaint does. If you have problems with color representation I suggest you save as GIFF format; GIFF seems to differentiate between colors the best. To use the startupscreen, once saved, re-name to file to 'startupscreen' and place it in your System Folder.

The Screen-Dump ][ installer has been modified as well. These information boxes can now print out the information listed (what you are reading right now). Just choose the 'print' button and click 'OK' on the Print dialog. Also, you can now extract the text to a MacWrite file. Just choose 'extract' and give the file a name to be saved as.
While the FKEY is being installed a Progress bar will appear to show you how far along it is in the installation process. Also, while under Multi-Finder the 'Transfer...' command will be grayed out since it is not to be used while under Multi-Finder.
Last, for the entertainment-minded, the 'About...' under the Apple Menu has been spruced up to put some fun into SD ][!
